DESCRIPTION
Students were challenged to create an illustration of a skull using carbon dust.
I chose to illustrate an anterolateral viewpoint with an inferior tilt, to demonstrate a non-standard vantage point where structural relationships might be more clearly shown. The skull was originally created with pencil and carbon dust before being scanned into Procreate to colour-correct and clean. Illustrator was used for titles and labels.
Upon completion, I created an alternative visual highlighting the bones of the skull (below). Colouring was completed in Photoshop.
