DESCRIPTION

The goal of this project was to create an illustrated sequence depicting a surgical procedure, based on direct observation, consultation, and research.

Surgical procedures must be illustrated with precise accuracy and detail, for medical residents to learn from them. In this series of illustrations, I depict a method for the open reduction and internal fixation of the humerus.

The procedure was observed at the Surgical Skills Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
