DESCRIPTION
The goal of the project was to create a sequence of images, suitable for a textbook, that explains a biomedical process.
I designed a textbook visualization depicting the process of bone remodeling, using vector graphics. Key considerations included differentiating important "characters" (cells); demarcating temporal stages; and communicating scale at both the gross and cellular level.
The explanatory text needed to be easily cross-referenced with the visuals, so a clear textual hierarchy was established and used throughout the graphic.
